THE FIRST PRECEPT OF CIVILIZATION IN DEPTH
We have an obligation to educate new generations about the true nature of the organism we coexist within and without. Nothing prevents the tradition of myths, yet we cannot allow myth to have any authority over scientific-reality, nor impede the global harmony of our species. This First Precept is a response to the human questions of existence: What am I? Where do I come from? What am I made of? Why am I here?
The Cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff… We are the Cosmos come to consciousness looking out upon itself.
– – Carl Sagan 1934-1996
The observable Cosmos is a single evolving system of matter and energy that contains everything in existence in a divine order. It is composed of many parts governed by the physical Laws of Nature on the smallest and largest scales. Its characteristics are consistent throughout, incapable of producing anything alien to itself. One cannot see the Cosmic connections between all things, or even the connections between people in the physical sense. However, we are deeply linked at the atomic-level by quantum physics and mechanics, and through molecular exchange processes. Its structures and processes created all the elements that enable life to flourish on an interdependent basis. The existence of any thing, or group of things, is only possible in relation to everything else. There is no independence or separation. Albert Einstein’s formula E=mc2 describes how mass (matter) is transformed to energy, or energy is transformed to matter in a reciprocal equivalence. Mass and energy cannot be destroyed, divorced from each other, or removed from the Cosmos. This indicates that everything is conserved in constant processes of transition between two states of being: as energy, or physical matter. Behold that everything is alive in a constant state change, evolving as improvisation of Divine theme.
People have become accustomed to talking about Cosmic life as being restricted to biological things because they are animated and mobile. We think of rocks as being lifeless, or dead, yet biological bodies are constructed from minerals and other elements stored and released from rocks, which means they exist and transition over time like all things do. One should never lose sight of the fact that biological life is only one genre of living things cocreated within the Universe. There are countless cocreative expressions of Cosmos contained in our current spacetime.
In his documentary, Your Inner Fish, Neil Shubin provides the scientific history for the evolution of biological life on Earth. He traces an unbroken chain of genetic components starting 375 million years ago with the emergence of fish, their modification into reptiles and birds, which then gave rise to the family of mammals. Fertilized eggs of every species share the same elementary structures and functions that are fine-tuned by more specialized components of DNA. This long evolutionary path has created increasingly more sophisticated animal forms. Brains have the ability to modify themselves in direct response to any variety of environments in addition to current level of genetic achievement. This is evolution in real time to increase odds of survival by developing specific skills quickly. Animals that require exceptional eyesight have brains with more developed visual skills than those that depend more heavily on other senses. The human body retains structures passed along in Earthly DNA for hundreds of millions of years cocreatively.
Let it be clear that there are no different races of humans on the planet. Bigotry is a learned and irrational excuse to avoid responsibility and erects a barrier to peaceful coexistence. British geneticist, Dr Spencer Wells, led the National Geographic Expedition to determine the planetary migration of humans from Africa to inhabit the rest of the world. Genetic analysis of blood samples proved that we stem from the same human ancestors of a single genome with the same needs.
There are times when our oneness is inescapable. To lose a family member is disturbing to the Universal connections within you. Just like losing a pet, there is emotional disappointment because an intimate connection with another is assumed to be lost. It is not lost. It lives on within you and everything that Loved One touched, and it has been transformed into other states of being. The feeling of an empty chest is normal. Solace for the heart comes by knowing we are Loved by an infinite set of connections that are eternal, including the familiar temporal connections, and the metaphysical connections we cannot easily detect with the five named senses. As a mobile machine our personal nervous system is wired electronically and linked to the Singularity by multiple wireless networks.
Another name for the Cosmos is Universe, literally meaning one-song, used as an analogy for the harmonious purpose of all things in space to produce a singular result collectively. This synergy is the living Mother of all conditions that birthed and maintains Us as Source. It is a Singularity of which we are an inextricably integrated part. The Universe is: That Which Is Greatest, and by its very Nature, the Ultimate Authority that fits the false-concept of God. This gives us clarity to know that God is not a separate being. Goddess-Complex is all things together. Whatever one chooses to believe, the fact remains that humanity is obliged to function within the limitations of Cosmic-Law.
Throughout the ages, seekers of spiritual truth have come to similar conclusion: ‘You Are God.’ That might seem like an extreme statement, but it is reasonable to say people are physical, conscious representatives of The Goddess Complex. Looking into the eyes of another person is to see similar part of you! The same is true when looking at another kind of animal, a plant, and the stars of this Maternal Entity. We are decorative products of The Goddess Complex, like flowers and neighboring blood cells. Goddess is Universal, not external, nor internal, just omnipresent. It is oneness. All that is spiritual is continual and inescapable in the entity called Cosmos. It is a mistake to think that one is separate in any way from all there is, or that one’s needs are in any way different, or more important, than interests of the many. We Am! This is the biggest blessing there is! There is no need for prayer in the vast shower of miracles that never end.
We were talking about the space between us all
And the people who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth, then it's far too late, when they pass away
We were talking about the love we all could share
When we find it, to try our best to hold it there, with our love
With our love, we could save the world, if they only knew!
Try to realize it's all within yourself
No one else can make you change
And to see you're really only very small
And life flows on within you and without you
We were talking about the love that's gone so cold
And the people who gain the world and lose their soul
They don't know, they can't see, are you one of them?
When you've seen beyond yourself then you may find
Peace of mind is waiting there
And the time will come when you see we're all one
And life flows on within you and without you

Namasté: Is a Hindu greeting used when individuals meet or depart, commonly used by people in central and southeast Asia meaning: I bow to the divine within you: I recognize the divine within you as the divine within me. Typically, the words are spoken while bowing slightly, holding palms together close to the chest with fingers pointing upward. Archeological evidence depicts people in this salutary pose dating back at least 4,000 years, which testifies to an old wisdom about the nature of respectful people and their shared divinity. Conceptually god is universal, so there can only be one. We are part of her. She is within us and all about us in a permanent partnership. This spiritual unity is predetermined Universally, and you are depending on that Love for the privilege of being here. One cannot select an alternative reality among thousands of fictitious gods, which are all insignificant to our true oneness with Uni-verse.
Spirituality is recognizing the divine light that is within us all. It doesn't belong to any particular religion; it belongs to everyone. – – Muhammad Ali 1942-2016
Every society is responsible for the wellbeing of all its members by default. There is no other reality. Any non-productive or handicapped person denied opportunity for a secure life is an assault on the Collective and becomes a tax on us all. The cost of privilege and exceptionalism is beyond our means and without moral justification. It is not wise to take sides when everyone's welfare always hangs in the balance, and we cannot succeed competing against our Cosmic-Self. Let us walk arm in arm as a force for health and the limits of Freedom to enjoy life.
