ABOUT THE SNOWFLAKE CHOIR This icon started as my virtual holiday card for 2006, and is one of my best of all time. It combines elementary symbols to form a snowflake, a human body, a sun, and a peace-sign. The spinning words are placed in a specific order so that pairs of words would pop out depending on where the eye starts reading… create joy… trust respect… etc… while asking something of the viewer. The selected words are also potent by themselves.
The design conjures many different human emotions that we find pleasant, romantic, and morally sound. Part of that emotion comes from memories associated with the act of snowing, being touched by a snowflake, the act of singing, the expression of jubilation, a group celebration for the deeper meaning of love.
I want all my friends to carry this idea around and show it off, so we can support a better vision of the future… by being better selves. |
